Lists, Lists, Lists

Hello, hello, to one and all. Well. The purpose of this all-important blog is to delve into the world of lists. We see them everywhere: from to-do lists to the myriad of countdowns on VH1 to the list of things you should be doing (cough), and we can never seem to get away from them (Not that lists are a bad thing.) So our mission is track them down, explore their contents, and find out just how everything made it to that top-something list.

Without further ado, we come to the first list we have come across: The 30 Best Films of the Decade.

To foster laziness, I'll also list them here:

30.) The Bourne Ultimatum
29.) The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters
28.) Son of Ranbow
27.) 28 Days Later...
26.) The Five Obstructions
25.) The Devil and Daniel Johnston
24.) Thank You For Smoking
23.) District 9
22.) Hustle and Flow
21.) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
20.) Super Troopers
19.) The Wind That Shakes the Barley
18.) Brick
17.) The Departed
16.) High Fidelity
15.) The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
14.) Whale Rider

12.) Children of Men
11.) O Brother, Where Art Thou
10.) Big Fish

8.) Spirited Away
7.) Old Boy
6.) Almost Famous
5.) There Will Be Blood
4.) Dark Knight
3.) Dear Zachary
2.) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
1.) Memento

This is definitely an eclectic list of movies, and for the next week or two, we'll be kept pretty busy, what with thirty movies and fall TV...but we'll make it happen.

Check back for reviews of all the movies!! :)

(By the way, that lonely Follow button on the right looks like it could use some lovin'...)

Meanwhile, have a good rest of the week, and stay enlisted! ♫
